We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts in the pure water and waste water sector. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate our solutions and foster relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, knowledge of waste water treatment processes, and a passion for contributing to a sustainable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pure water and waste water industry, including municipal and industrial clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
- Prepare and submit proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to enhance sales strategies.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, targets, and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or technical support within the pure water and waste water industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of waste water treatment processes and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building relationships.
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Malay.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
