Role Overview

The Business Development Executive at CARMA is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities that will drive revenue growth. You will play a crucial role in supporting the business development team by researching potential clients, reaching out to leads, and helping to convert prospects into valued customers. This position is well-suited for individuals looking to begin their career in sales and business development, particularly within the media and communications sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and develop a robust pipeline of leads
  • Engage with potential clients through various channels, including email, phone, and social media, to initiate conversations and set up meetings
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate with them effectively to understand their needs
  • Support senior team members in preparing proposals, pitches, and presentations tailored to the needs of prospects
  • Maintain and update pipeline and CRM records to ensure accurate tracking of leads and follow-up activities
  • Assist in market analysis and track industry trends to better understand the competitive landscape and client needs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and content aimed at attracting new clients
  • Participate in networking events and trade shows to represent CARMA and foster relationships with potential clients
  • Track and report on sales activities, providing insights into progress and opportunities for improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficiency with CRM software
  • Excellent research skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interest in media intelligence, public relations, or communications
