About the role
LD Micro Precision Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented QA Supervisor to join our team in Penang. As QA Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes across our manufacturing operations, ensuring we consistently meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development within our growing organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures and policies to identify and address any quality issues.
- Supervising a team of quality assurance inspectors and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective quality control processes.
- Analysing quality data and generating reports to track Key Performance Indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Providing training and coaching to employees on quality control best practices.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to optimise quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and experience implementing quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and quality management software
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of quality assurance professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
- Exceptional communication skills.
