About the role
LD Micro Precision Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Milling, Turning, Wirecut, EDM Sinker) to join our team in Penang. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic Mechanical Engineering organization.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC Machines to produce part as per drawing and within specification.
- Setup, operate and maintains measuring equipment, gauges and fixtures for inspection.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all time.
- Able to train Machine Operators to operate CNC Machine.
- Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction and compliance with safety requirements.
- Able to perform simple troubleshooting and regular maintenance on CNC Machines.
- Responsibility to inform superior on machine and tooling conditions that may cause quality and safety issue.
- Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Certificates, Diploma In General Machining or equivalent.
- Graduate from ILP,IKM,GMI, JMI, PSDC and any other Malaysia technical institute are encourage to apply.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Able to work in rotating shifts and perform overtime work.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Self-motivated and good team player.
