We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Security Manager to support our Security team at Novotel Johor Bahru City Centre. In this role, you will assist in ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel assets. You will help oversee daily security operations, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with safety standards in alignment with Sofitel brand values.
Job Description
- Assist the Security Manager in overseeing daily security operations and team deployment
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property at all times
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of hotel premises, including public areas, back-of-house, and perimeter
- Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Support the implementation of safety, fire, and emergency procedures
- Assist in conducting investigations of incidents, accidents, and security breaches
- Coordinate with local authorities when necessary
- Maintain accurate reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security logs
- Provide training and guidance to security staff to maintain high standards of performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards
- Promote a secure, welcoming, and professional environment for guests and staff
