Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) or Application Support in the insurance or financial services industry.
Hands-on experience working with Life Asia, including policy administration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation, analysis, troubleshooting, and database verification.
Strong understanding of relational databases and query optimization.
Good knowledge of Life Insurance business processes, including policy issuance, underwriting, premium collection, claims, endorsements, and policy servicing.
Experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and coordinating with development teams to resolve issues.
Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect management tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting or implementing Life Insurance Core Systems.
Knowledge of insurance products and business workflows.
Experience using testing tools and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM) is an advantage.
Understanding of APIs, system integration, or batch processing is a plus
