Job Opening: Demi Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP)
Location: Fas a Fas Bakery & Cafe – Ubud, Bali
Position Type: Full-Time | Immediate Start Preferred
Fas a Fas is a boutique French-inspired bakery and café in the heart of Ubud, known for artisanal craftsmanship, elegant desserts, and community-centered values. We are looking for a Demi Pastry CDP with a passion for entremets, cakes, and French pastry classics to join our growing pastry team.
Responsibilities
- Produce and assemble French-style pastries such as entremets, tarts, choux, laminated doughs, and decorated cakes.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and portioning.
- Assist with daily mise en place, production, and smooth kitchen operations.
- Support the Executive Chef in recipe development and seasonal menu updates.
- Follow and enforce strict hygiene and food safety practices.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff in the pastry section.
Requirements
- Minimum SMK Tata Boga or equivalent vocational culinary education.
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen.
- Strong technical skills in French pastry, including entremets and cake finishing.
- Attention to detail, good time management, and ability to work cleanly under pressure.
- Willingness to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Domiciled in Bali (priority given to Bali-based applicants).
