Minimum Requirement

Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing by using Katalon
Good understanding of industry business processes, particularly in banking, insurance and multifinance (must)
Ability to design and implement effective test automation frameworks.
Ability to create and manage test cases, test suites, and test data within Katalon Studio.
Experience in testing both web and mobile applications using Katalon.
Understanding of the challenges and nuances of testing different platforms.
Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they relate to testing.

Required Skills

Familiar with scripting languages like Groovy, which is used in Katalon automation scripts.
Understanding of test automation principles and best practices.
Knowledge of different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end).
Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio.
Ability to create and manage test cases, test suites, and test objects.
Proficiency in using Katalon Recorder and Katalon TestOps for test management and execution.
Knowledge of Groovy or other scripting languages supported by Katalon.
Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
Experience with data-driven, keyword-driven, and behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot failures, and debug test scripts effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members.
Attention to detail to identify even subtle issues in the application.
Critical thinking to evaluate risks and prioritize testing efforts.
