This is a full-time position based in Jakarta. Fluency in both English and Indonesian is required.
Recoolit is an American climate tech startup on a mission to prevent 1 billion tCO2e of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Since launching operations in Indonesia in 2021, we've pioneered a new approach to superpollutant reduction through high-integrity refrigerant destruction credits backed by a fully traceable software platform, leading to recognition as a market leader, including securing a multi-year contract to sell carbon credits to Google. We partner with some of Indonesia's largest companies to capture and properly dispose of these gases, and we are backed by veteran Silicon Valley investors.
As an Account Manager on our Supply Growth team, you own the relationships that keep refrigerant flowing into Recoolit. You'll take qualified leads, close them, onboard them onto our platform and process, and then grow them — turning a one-time technician or service company into a reliable, high-volume supply partner. Your book of accounts is the engine of our collection volume, and you are accountable for keeping it active and growing.
We are looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or partnerships — ideally someone who has carried a quota or owned a book of business and knows how to keep relationships warm and productive over time.
• Closing: Convert qualified leads into active supply partners, walking them through how Recoolit works and why it's worth their time.
• Onboarding: Get new partners set up on our process and platform, and ensure their first collections go smoothly.
• Account growth: Own an ongoing book of supply partners — keep them active, deepen the relationship, and grow the volume of refrigerant they bring us.
• Cross-team coordination: Work closely with our SDRs, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure smooth collection and a great partner experience.
• Tracking & reporting: Monitor your accounts against targets and maintain accurate performance reporting in alignment with company-wide goals.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, partnerships, or client services, with a proven ability to close and grow relationships. B2B experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable owning targets and a pipeline; you're proactive about follow-up and don't let accounts go cold.
• Fluent in both English and Indonesian. You can discuss complex or abstract concepts clearly in both.
• Strong communicator and structured thinker: detail-oriented without losing the bigger picture. Digitally literate and comfortable in a CRM and in spreadsheets, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience in an early-stage startup or other evidence of ownership, initiative, and flexibility; you're happy wearing many hats.
• Relevant industry experience (e.g. climate tech, HVAC, real estate, facilities management, or waste management) is a plus but not required.
• Values alignment: you are constantly learning, operate with transparency, take ownership (self-starter), act as part of a team, and are motivated by climate impact.
