The appointee will be responsible for handling applications for approval relating to trustees, MPF schemes and investment funds. The main responsibilities include: -


The Job

  • To lead a small team to handle various types of applications for approval;
  • To review, develop and implement plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall operations of approval function;
  • To formulate and draft operational policies and procedures;
  • To supervise the preparation of reports and statistics to the Management and other departments; and
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the Management.


The Person

  • A recognized degree, preferably majoring in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Law or equivalent;
  • At least eight years of work experience in legal / compliance / regulatory fields, or trust business / management of pensions / retirement schemes, of which at least four years should be at supervisory level;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Able to analyze complex issues, anticipate problems and take preventive measures;
  • Able to articulate messages clearly with styles appropriate to the audience and occasions;
  • Adaptive to change and proactively identify issues and innovative measures;
  • Creative in building rapport with stakeholders; and
  • Capable of applying appropriate leadership styles to engage staff.


Remuneration Package

A competitive remuneration and benefits package including a discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered. All new appointments will be made on a two-year fixed-term contract initially prior to consideration for appointment on a non-fixed-term basis.
