Plan, collaborate, and co-teach Mathematics and Science lessons with IB PYP UOI homeroom teachers for primary classes, reporting to the PYP Coordinator;
Take up pastoral care responsibilities for students of the class;
Refine and articulate the primary Mathematics and Science curriculum to ensure alignment with the IB PYP framework and latest EDB standards;
Design and differentiate Mathematics and Science instructional resources, emphasizing the integration of innovative teaching aids and maintaining a systematic inventory of materials;
Formulate and execute a variety of assessment methodologies for Mathematics and Science to monitor student growth and facilitate the delivery of differentiated instruction;
Serve as a dedicated member of the Gifted Education Team, designing and leading specialized enrichment programs for high-ability students. Provide push-in and pull-out support to students in learning Maths/Science ;
Facilitate professional development and collaborative sharing sessions for PYP staff regarding Mathematics and Science pedagogy, encompassing external educational resources, field excursions, and laboratory safety protocols;
Perform other duties as assigned by the department or school.
