With a rich legacy of excellence and a commitment to delivering advanced capabilities to their global customers, they're now looking for a Regional Data and Analytics Governance Manager.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Led the (Enterprise‑Wide Data Strategy Initiatives) to drive and improve operational data efficiency, data security, and regulatory compliance across regional offices;
  • Establish GDPR‑aligned data protection and governance business practices to safeguard client data and manage data risk;
  • Collaborate with Data Architects to create a single trusted data source to optimize data pipelines for business in different locations;
  • Improve data quality, data integrity, data sharing policies;
  • Review enterprise data issues and develop a data governance framework for tracking in a BI (Tableau) report;
  • Design a corporate‑level risk & remediation framework to identify and prevent data quality issues proactively;
  • Deliver user training to drive business adoption for data policies and embed data governance into business operations.

The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems OR Computer Science OR Data Management, OR a related discipline;
  • AT LEAST 10 Years or above of experience with proven track record in implementing Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Sharing, Data Quality Management with regulatory compliance (eg. GDPR etc) within an MNC environment;
  • Strong mastery of Azure Data Services (Databricks, Data Factory etc);
  • Demonstrated capability in developing data governance artifacts, such as business/ data glossaries and risk & remediation frameworks;
  • Ability to set up data platform observability standards (logging, metrics, alerting) and work with infrastructure teams to create monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor);
  • Strong understanding of data protection principles, data privacy regulations, and internal data‑sharing policies with different locations;
  • Hands-on experience assessing and improving data quality, data integrity, and data lineage across multiple systems and databases;
  • Proficient in spoken (Cantonese and English) and written English is a MUST.

Good to have

  • Experience working with BI and analytics platforms such as Tableau and Qlik, including understanding of reporting dependencies and data models;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to establish single trusted data sources;
  • Strong change management, stakeholder engagement skills, with experience delivering training sessions;
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to proactively identify data risks and translate them into practical, enterprise‑level solutions.
