- Knowledge with video editing softwares such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc is a plus
Background
SeaYouHK is an S88-registered marine conservation NGO dedicated to protecting Hong Kong’s coastlines and raising awareness about plastic pollution, waste management, and ocean health.To educate the public—especially youth—we are expanding into short-form environmental news videos, where our founder appears on camera reporting trending topics such as:
- Hong Kong marine pollution updates
- Global climate & ocean news
- Waste reduction policies
- ESG and green innovation
- Beach cleanup insights & ocean factsWe are now recruiting a volunteer Video Editor to help us bring this content to life.
What We Have
To help the volunteer start smoothly, our team will provide:1. Raw Footage & Audio - We will provide: All speaking clips of our reporter reporting environmental news 2. Clear Script & Briefs for Every Video - Each video will come with: Topic summary (e.g., “Ocean plastic found in 90% of seabirds”), Key facts, Tone of voice, Mandatory call-to-action (e.g., “Join our next beach clean-up”) 3. Social Media Guidelines - We will provide a simple style guide covering: Preferred editing style (clean, minimal, engaging), Subtitle formatting, Music guidelines, Hashtags + posting schedule 4. Fast & Supportive Feedback - You’ll have direct access to our core team for: Quick clarification, Smooth revision process, Creative freedom within a clear framework

What We Do
SeaYou Foundation Limited is an S88-registered environmental charity in Hong Kong focused on marine protection and environmental education. We organise regular beach and mountain clean-ups, youth outreach, public awareness campaigns and community eco-initiatives. Our mission is to reduce coastal waste, inspire behavioural change and empower citizens—especially young people—to protect the ocean and nature. We collaborate with schools, organisations and volunteers to create long-term positive environmental impact.
