Responsibilities:

Work independently to handle low to medium value purchases for building and technology-related projects -
Assist supervisors to manage the tendering process for high value purchases, including proactively work with user departments on preparation of invitation documents, evaluation, assessment reports, relevant purchase orders and contract documents -
Liaise with user departments and provide advice on needs identification and requirement specification -
Conduct pre-qualification exercises, market research and sourcing activities -
Support the development of the best fit procurement and contracting strategies in line with established procurement policies and procedures -
Ensure the procurement activities are implemented which are fully compliant with corporate procurement policy and procedures
Requirements:

Degree holder in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or related disciplines. Candidates with qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management will also be considered. -
Professional qualification in procurement is preferrable -
A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, preferably in sizeable organizations -
Familiar with contracting and tendering process for property, maintenance, equipment, technology-related projects -
Good understanding and experience in handling the World Trade Organization (WTO) / Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) tenders would be an advantage -
Knowledge in using ERP system, e.g. Oracle Financial I Procurement System is an advantage -
Proficient in MS Office application, particularly in Excel; knowledge of analytics tools and PowerPoint is preferred. -
Good interpersonal communication and influencing skills -
Proactive, high level of integrity, good team spirit and able to work under pressure -
Excellent command of both spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
