We are now looking for a Senior System Specialist. You will be responsible for delivering technical support and ensuring the effective maintenance of the organization's technology infrastructure.
As a Senior System Specialist , we rely on you to:
- Provide comprehensive technical support and maintenance for backend IT infrastructure, including:
- Windows Active Directory.
- Virtualized servers using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Storage Area Network (SAN).
- Office 365 and Azure Platform.
- Connectivity infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct performance management and capacity planning to optimize system performance.
- Evaluate, analyze, design, and implement new IT infrastructure projects to align with business needs.
- Develop and manage disaster recovery plans, ensuring smooth operations during outages or system failures.
- Coordinate with IT vendors for the procurement and deployment of hardware, software.
- Participate in an after-hours rotating support duty roster to provide remote technical support during critical system outages.
- Execute additional tasks and special projects as directed by the supervisor or senior management.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of direct, hands-on experience in IT infrastructure technical design, implementation, and support.
- Expertise in using VMware vCenter for virtualization management.
- Proven experience in SAN technologies (e.g., HP 3Par, NetApp, HDS).
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP5 or higher).
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
- Proficiency in Windows Active Directory and Office 365/Azure Platforms.
- Familiarity with firewalls, switches, and connectivity infrastructure.
- Strong fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to efficient follow-through on tasks and projects.
- Strong organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A self-starter with a "can-do" mindset who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
