Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time Laboratory Assistant in Centre for Translational Stem Cell Biology (Ref.:CTSCB-260331), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
The selected candidates will work in a company incorporated by the University of Hong Kong established to administer and support the University’s innovation endeavours.
Shortlisted candidates will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the laboratories, including preparing reagents, and consumables for autoclaving. The appointee will also be required to maintain general cleanliness in the office and laboratory areas, provide courier support, and perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if syllabus A/ Level 2 from 2007), or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE, including English Language. Preferably to have a license to operate electrical boiler or be willing to complete the necessary courses to obtain the license. Appointee should also be self-motivated, organized, safety-conscious, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
