What You Will Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and web applications powering Tower of Saviors (神魔之塔).
- Optimize API performance, database efficiency, scalability, and overall system reliability.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, frontend developers, and QA throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write unit and integration tests using PHPUnit, Jest, or Mocha to ensure software quality.
What You Need For This Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3+ years of experience in backend or full-stack web application development.
- Passion for gaming and building high-quality player experiences.
- Proficiency in React and one or more of the following technologies: PHP / Laravel / TypeScript / Node.js
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, and software design principles.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
Working Location & Hours:
- Hong Kong Science Park, Shatin
- 5-day work, 10:00 – 19:00 (Lunch hour 13:45 – 15:00)
