Responsibilities:

  • To provide deep analytical insights into the in-force portfolio by developing customer and agent segmentation models.
  • To translate these insights into concrete business strategies that drive cross-selling, upselling, and customer retention.
  • To ensure the profitable growth of the portfolio by establishing and tracking key financial performance indicators.

1. Portfolio Analysis & Value Enhancement

  • Develop Customer & Agent Segmentation Models: Design and refine segmentation models for both customer and distribution. You will partner closely with the Distribution team to obtain the right data, apply the right model(s), and translate insights into the right message for highly targeted campaigns.
  • Identify Value Enhancement Opportunities: Analyze the entire policy lifecycle to identify opportunities for value creation through targeted cross-selling, upselling, and strategic retention initiatives.
  • Generate Actionable Financial Insights: Translate complex portfolio data into clear, compelling reports and presentations for management, highlighting trends, risks, and strategic recommendations.

2. Business Stewardship & Initiative Management

  • Provide Data-Driven Business Stewardship: Guide and collaborate with Distribution, Product, and Marketing teams, providing the analytical rationale and financial justification for proposed in-force initiatives.
  • Model and Design Strategic Initiatives: Design and model the potential financial impact of targeted campaigns aimed at improving customer cross-selling and increasing product penetration within the existing portfolio.
  • Lead Data Consolidation: Act as the central point for gathering and validating data from various business sources to build and maintain a comprehensive, accurate view of the in-force book.

3. Performance Measurement & Financial Reporting

  • Define and Track Key Financial Metrics: Establish, monitor, and report on critical KPIs of all initiatives.
  • Develop Performance Dashboards: Create and maintain performance dashboards that provide senior management with clear visibility into the financial effectiveness and ROI of in-force strategies.
  • Ensure Robust Governance and Compliance: Guarantee all in-force management activities are executed in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal AXA financial governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analysis into clear business strategy and influence stakeholders, especially within Distribution and Marketing functions.
  • Hands-on experience in data science model building, including techniques for segmentation (e.g., clustering), propensity modeling, and churn prediction.
  • 8+ years of solid experience working in a data-centric role, preferably within Marketing or Inforce Management team.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, financial metrics, and actuarial concepts (e.g., persistency, profitability).
  • High proficiency in data analysis and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python/R) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • A meticulous, analytical mindset with a strong commercial acumen.
