About The Client
Our client is a highly respected, top-tier property developer in Hong Kong with a reputation for excellence. They own and manage a prestigious portfolio of premium commercial, retail, and mixed-use facilities. We are currently partnering with them to find a highly capable AGM - Technical Services to oversee the technical operations and maintenance of a major, high-traffic commercial portfolio.
About the role
- Lead the technical team in managing the daily maintenance, operations, and facility upgrades for a portfolio of premium commercial and retail properties
- Formulate and execute comprehensive planned preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal building performance and compliance with statutory requirements
- Prepare, monitor, and control annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets for technical operations and improvement works
- Oversee large-scale Alterations and Additions (A&A), renovation, and facility upgrading projects from planning through to execution
- Manage external contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and strict adherence to safety standards
- Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives by implementing energy-saving measures and green building practices across the facilities
- Handle technical emergencies and provide expert advice to property management teams to resolve complex engineering issues
The successful applicants
- Bachelor's degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Professional qualifications such as MHKIE, CEng, RPE, or equivalent are highly preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of solid experience in technical maintenance or facility management, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity
- Proven track record working directly for major property developers or top-tier property management companies handling premium commercial assets
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and guide a sizeable technical team
- Excellent vendor management, project management, and budget control skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
