Duties: The appointee will take part in the full software development lifecycle, handle end-to-end application development and maintenance while ensuring strict quality assurance and project support. Key responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing and implementing systems, and conducting thorough unit and system testing, alongside creating comprehensive technical and user documentation. Additionally, he/she will also take a role to support project execution, manage vendor relationships to optimize service and mitigate risk, maintain effective communication across teams, and ensure all duties performed are adhere to Authority standards, organizational policies, and established IT industry benchmarks, specifically ISO 20000 and ISO 27001.
Requirements:
(a) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines;
(b) At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in application system development, testing, maintenance and daily operational support, including 3 years of experience in vendor management and project management;
(c) Hands-on experience in Web Application development with Java/JavaScript, SPRING framework, Cloud computing, and Oracle Database technologies;
(e) Self-motivated, innovative, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good team player with good interpersonal skills;
(f) Highly meticulous and able to work at non-office and irregular hours when required; and
(g) Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
