Junior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

This role is part of the Group Finance team, supporting financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering across functions. The Junior Financial Analyst will work with cross-functional stakeholders to manage costs, support reporting and dashboards, and improve processes to drive better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Business Partnering (Technology & People)

• Support finance partnering for technology and people-related teams
• Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Work with stakeholders on IT projects, vendor management, and cost control (OpEx and CapEx)
• Help ensure proper financial control and discipline

2. Headcount & Cost Control

• Work closely with HR and business teams on headcount reporting
• Ensure accuracy of staff costs, including salaries, benefits, and contractors

3. System & UAT Support

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements
• Focus on ensuring reports are accurate and reliable

4. Reporting & Dashboards (Process Improvement)

• Support the creation and maintenance of management reports, scorecards, and KPI dashboards
• Work with system and data teams to improve reporting
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest simplification or automation
• Help reduce manual work and improve data accuracy and report turnaround time

5. Ad-hoc Analysis

• Provide analysis and reporting support as needed
• Assist management in making informed business decisions

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related fields
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience are welcome
• Strong willingness to learn with a flexible and adaptable mindset
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with data, reports, and dashboards
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams
• Proficient in Excel; experience with BI tools or systems is a plus
