Regional Account Manager, APAC (Hybrid)

As a Regional Account Manager, you are responsible for managing a single client account or portfolio of a regional account(s) to include but not limited to client retention, contract negotiation, implementation, business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials, business planning, and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in multiple regions, and staff development. You’ll report to global program management.
As a Regional Account Manager, you will
- Oversee the regional coordination of all communication across the region, both BCD Travel and the client’s global initiatives
- Manage new business implementations, working closely with the implementation team to ensure client expectations are met
- Help measure and report Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a regional level and develop deliberate business plans
- Drive profitability of the contract on a regional basis by increasing revenues through up-selling and cross-selling to meet client’s strategic needs
- Identify and assist in the selection of technology tools and processes to produce desired results
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makers in the region
- Perform client business reviews and deliver regular financial reporting to all stakeholders
About you
- Prior travel management company or related business travel account management experience desired
- Experience implementing and managing large market or regional clients
- Thorough knowledge of business travel account management and operations
- Adept with travel industry technology and processes
- Demonstrated ability to successfully build, maintain, and grow customer portfolios and client relationships
- Knowledge of creating business plans and managing business/client strategies
- Previous experience in managing cross-functional work teams
- Effective presentation skills in terms of development and delivery
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
