Aufgabengebiet
- Take full ownership of end-to-end data center relocation projects, including planning, execution, and cutover activities
- Define and drive the overall relocation strategy, working closely with architects and SMEs on infrastructure design, dependency mapping, and migration approach
- Develop detailed migration plans, wave planning, and move group sequencing across multiple sites and systems
- Ensure business continuity, minimizing operational impact during all phases of the relocation
- Act as the key liaison between client, internal teams, and external vendors, ensuring alignment and clear communication
- Lead governance, reporting, and steering committee updates, engaging stakeholders at senior and executive levels
- Oversee vendors involved in logistics, cabling, facilities, and hardware movement, ensuring quality and timely execution
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies where needed
- Track project progress, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery
Anforderungsprofil - 10+ years of IT project management experience, with strong exposure to infrastructure delivery
- Proven track record managing data center relocation, consolidation, or large-scale migration projects
- Experience working in mission-critical environments (e.g., banking, telecom, public sector, large enterprises)
- Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure, including:
- Servers, storage, networks
- Virtualization platforms
- Cloud environments
- Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple vendors
- Strong capability in stakeholder management, including engagement with senior leadership
- Experience driving project governance, risk control, and structured delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
