Job Description

This role will be based in our Revenue Management Consolidated Center - Asia Pacific (RMCC APAC) in Shanghai, China.

To provide effective commercial support to region’s RMCC hotels’ performance and operations to maximize revenue and profits. This includes accountability for, but not limited to, Fair market share, RGI, forecast accuracy, Sell-out efficiency, year over year growth, and mix of business. To drive the continued development and growth of customer service standards, revenue, and profits from all hotels and to deliver Hilton’s mission relating to profit, people, customer, and quality. This role will be focused on the region’s portfolio to lead and develop direct reports by providing direction and offering feedback on the performance of their duties.

Your role is important, and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like

  • Lead and manage the RMCC APAC team of Senior Cluster Revenue Managers and Cluster Revenue Managers, driving revenue optimization across the region’s hotel portfolio through Fair market share, RGI, and forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and implement revenue & yield policies, pricing strategies, and commercial decision-making processes to maximize revenue and profit under current and anticipated market conditions.
  • Ensure professional utilization of revenue management systems (IDeaS, PMS, CRS) and provide effective coaching, training, and guidance to hotel and above-hotel commercial teams.
  • Monitor performance results against internal and external benchmarks, conduct analysis to identify opportunities and risks, and drive corrective actions to achieve budget and outperform competition.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Partner with key regional stakeholders including VP of Operations, General Managers, Sales, Marketing and eCommerce teams to plan market segment and channel strategies
  • Attend and contribute to regional forums and meetings to deliver progress updates, and participate in the development of revenue plans and strategies.
  • Liaise with area and regional colleagues to understand business requirements from the revenue function and ensure hotels are kept up to date with systems changes and developments.

What Projects Or Deliverables You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Lead initiatives and projects to drive revenue performance, streamline RMCC processes, and increase the revenue management skill set across the team.
  • Create annual plans for regional initiatives and hotel activities, manage budgets within company guidelines, and implement new revenue management systems and processes for hotels in the region.

Qualifications

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in revenue management or similar commercial function
  • 4+ years of management or supervisory experience in a revenue management context
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Word; experience with PMS (OnQ), RMS (IDeaS), CRS, and Delphi
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently; travel is required

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • MS/MA/Master’s Degree
  • 6+ years of revenue management experience
  • 6+ years of management or supervisory experience
