Responsibilities
- Undertake design tasks and provide technical support for engineering vehicles (rolling stock) with emphasis on mechanical system.
- Provide technical solutions, assist in design changes, developing technical and working drawings for implementation, conducting studies and proposing recommendations for a safe, reliable and efficient system of Engineering Vehicles
- Coordinate technical interface between new engineering vehicles and existing systems and work with internal and external stakeholders
- Compile technical specifications, review design submissions, attend factory tests and site inspections as well as support testing and commissioning activities
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant design experience
- Solid experience in rolling stock design and project management is an advantage
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
Remarks
- Occasional business travel may be required
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
