Good tech, but leadership is a mixed bag
Alignerr has a lot of potential with interesting tech, but the leadership team really needs to step up. It's a typical startup environment with its ups and downs.
I really liked working with my immediate engineering team. The product we built as a Software Engineer was genuinely cool and technically challenging. It's a fast-paced environment for a startup in the tech industry.
Leadership here can be tough to deal with. There's often a lack of clear direction from upper management, especially for those of us working in the San Francisco office. Decisions sometimes feel really sudden and not well thought out.
Focus on consistent and transparent communication from the top. Give teams more autonomy and trust. Explain the 'why' behind big strategic shifts, it would help employee morale and clarity.
