Promserv Electrical (Perak) Sdn Bhd was established in 1990 primarily to provide specialized services in site tests; commissioning; maintenance; fault diagnosis and system rectification of electrical installations and power plants. It is specialize to conduct the abovementioned range of work on installation and plants of voltages from 415Volt to 275Kilovolt. However, as of 30th June 2010, PROMSERV Electrical (Perak) Sdn Bhd will be known as MIRASTECH Power Systems Sdn Bhd. Since its inception, MIRASTECH, based on a wide range of field experience gained over the years, has developed and extended its specialization beyond the primary area of services. The specialized services which have so far been added to the list are: 1. Non-intrusive predictive maintenance on protection system adopting ‘live and loaded’ testing method. 2. Fault diagnosis and condition monitoring of electrical system using the Computer Aided Analyzer (CAA) System. 3. Predictive maintenance and incipient fault diagnosis in an electrical or mechanical plant by means of the INFRA-RED THERMOGRAPHIC SYSTEM. 4. Site verification of metering system by means of the COMPUTER AIDED TEST SET. To keep in line with its commitment of exceeding the client’s expectation, MIRASTECH’s specialized services are further enhanced with the Report Archives System (“RAS”) in our own web portal. It is MIRASTECH’s established policy to keep its staff abreast with new technology and to assimilate new technique of fault diagnosis by conducting in-house discussion and training. Their technical staffs have also been constantly sent to participate in relevant training courses and seminars, locally and overseas. Geographically MIRASTECH provides its services to the whole Peninsula of Malaysia from its original base in the northern region. To act as a Technical Auditor in analyzing and evaluating an industrial power system in terms of equipment compatibility and protection coordination. To organize ‘Hands-on Practical Training Courses’ to improve the skill and competency in switching operation, of Engineers/Technicians of MIRASTECH’s clients. To provide Turnkey Power/ Process Packages’ for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries.
